2020 has been a year most people will not want to relive, however many opportunities have emerged in creative and home based work. I have seen countless small businesses thriving on platforms such as Etsy and Shopify that have outlined ways to earn alternative sources of income in a post-pandemic world. A major concern regarding fear of starting ones own business is "what if I lose everything", this is a very valid fear for people that are used to consistent and stable work. Not everyone is born with an entrepreneur spirit and that is completely ok, although there isn't a lot of reward for a position that has hired you to work in a specific position with already set expectations.
Limited foot traffic and lockdowns have devastated small businesses with brick and mortar stores who depend on in person consumerism, but adaptability such as to-go restaurants and curb side pickups for clothing and electronic stores has seen steady profits on going through the end of quarter 4 this year.
As we approach 2021 and the beginning of a new year, ask yourself, is there an opportunity you want to take that you have been a bit scared to do? That's what we are doing at LNW, we have purchased our own heat press and design cutter and we will be growing our brand throughout CDA Idaho and the PNW. The main goal is to put our passion into clothing and small business into play and be independent from working for others.
Keep Watching as we grow from a two man operation to a community collective here at LNW.
